- Greet customers in a friendly and welcoming manner upon arrival at the store.
- Scan and bag items accurately and efficiently at the checkout counter.
- Process cash, credit, and debit card transactions using a point-of-sale system.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, including restocking bags, receipt paper, and other supplies.
- Follow all company policies and procedures for cash handling and customer service.
- Assist customers in locating products and making recommendations based on their needs.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure a smooth and seamless checkout process for customers.
- Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions to inform customers and encourage additional purchases.

Excellent Customer Service Skills: A Part-Time Cashier At Ace Hardware Should Possess Exceptional Customer Service Skills To Provide A Positive Shopping Experience For Customers. This Includes Being Friendly, Approachable, And Knowledgeable About The Products And Services Offered.
Cash Handling Experience: Previous Experience Handling Cash And Operating A Cash Register Is An Important Qualification For This Role. A Part-Time Cashier Should Be Comfortable With Processing Different Payment Methods, Providing Accurate Change, And Reconciling Cash At The End Of Their Shift.
