As a Cashier, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our customers have a positive shopping experience by providing efficient and accurate checkout services.   1. Greet customers in a friendly and welcoming manner upon arrival at the store.
  2. Scan and bag items accurately and efficiently at the checkout counter.
  3. Process cash, credit, and debit card transactions using a point-of-sale system.
  4. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  5. Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, including restocking bags, receipt paper, and other supplies.
  6. Follow all company policies and procedures for cash handling and customer service.
  7. Assist customers in locating products and making recommendations based on their needs.
  8. Collaborate with other team members to ensure a smooth and seamless checkout process for customers.
  9. Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions to inform customers and encourage additional purchases.
  10. Participate in training and development opportunities provided by the company to improve skills and knowledge.
  11. Adhere to all safety and security protocols to protect the store and its assets.
  12. Continuously strive to provide excellent customer service and represent the Ace Hardware brand positively.
  13. May be required to perform other duties as assigned by the store manager or supervisor.
