1. Greet and welcome customers as they enter the store, providing a friendly and positive first impression of Ace Hardware.
2. Demonstrate expert knowledge of all paint products, including types, colors, finishes, and applications.
3. Assist customers in finding the perfect paint for their project, taking into consideration their preferences, budget, and specific needs.
4. Provide exceptional customer service by actively listening to customers' concerns and providing helpful solutions and recommendations.
5. Educate customers on proper paint application techniques, including surface preparation, mixing, and application methods.
6. Offer guidance on color selection and provide color matching services using our paint color matching technology.
7. Keep up-to-date with industry trends and new paint products to effectively answer customer questions and make product recommendations.
8. Create and maintain a clean and organized paint department, ensuring that all products are properly stocked and labeled.
9. Process paint orders accurately and efficiently, including mixing custom colors and tinting paint as needed.
10. Handle customer complaints and returns, resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
11. Collaborate with other team members to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive and cohesive work environment.
12. Continuously strive to improve customer satisfaction and increase sales by actively seeking out opportunities to upsell and cross-sell paint and related products.
13. Adhere to all store policies, procedures, and safety guidelines to ensure a safe and welcoming shopping experience for customers.
14. Attend training sessions and workshops to stay informed on new products and techniques.
15. Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times, representing Ace Hardware in a positive light and providing a memorable shopping experience for our customers.
