  1. Monitor and patrol store premises to identify and prevent potential security threats, such as theft, fraud, and vandalism.
  2. Utilize security cameras and other equipment to monitor and record suspicious activity.
  3. Conduct thorough and efficient investigations of security incidents, documenting findings and reporting to management.
  4. Collaborate with store management and associates to implement and maintain effective security procedures and protocols.
  5. Train and educate store associates on proper security measures and procedures to prevent loss and protect company assets.
  6. Maintain accurate and organized records of security incidents, investigations, and training materials.
  7. Act as a visible and approachable presence in the store to deter potential criminals and make customers feel safe and welcome.
  8. Respond to alarms and emergency situations in a calm and efficient manner, taking appropriate action to resolve the situation and ensure the safety of all individuals involved.
  9. Regularly review and update security procedures and protocols to stay current with industry best practices and company standards.
  10. Work closely with law enforcement agencies when necessary, providing them with information and evidence to aid in investigations.
  11. Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
  12. Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

  • Knowledge Of Loss Prevention Techniques: A Successful Candidate For A Loss Prevention Officer Job At Ace Hardware Should Possess A Strong Understanding Of Various Techniques Used To Prevent Theft, Such As Cctv Monitoring, Auditing, And Conducting Investigations.

  • Physical Fitness And Stamina: As A Loss Prevention Officer, You Will Be Required To Stand, Walk, And Possibly Pursue Suspects For Extended Periods Of Time. Therefore, Physical Fitness And Stamina Are Essential Qualifications For This Role.
