
Loss Prevention Officer

- Monitor and patrol the store premises to prevent theft, vandalism, and other safety concerns.
- Identify and report any suspicious activity or potential security threats to the store management.
- Implement and maintain effective security protocols and procedures to safeguard the store and its merchandise.
- Conduct thorough investigations into any incidents of theft or loss and provide detailed reports to the management.
- Collaborate with store management to develop and implement loss prevention strategies and training programs.
- Use surveillance equipment and technology to monitor and track inventory and prevent inventory shrinkage.
- Train and educate store employees on loss prevention policies and procedures to ensure compliance.
- Work closely with law enforcement agencies to report and handle incidents of theft or fraudulent activity.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify and address any potential security risks.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of security incidents, investigations, and training programs.
- Assist in the recovery and return of stolen merchandise when necessary.
- Continuously stay up-to-date on the latest security trends and techniques to improve loss prevention strategies.
- Maintain a professional and customer-oriented attitude at all times while representing the store.
- Handle challenging situations and difficult customers with tact and diplomacy.
- Collaborate with other store departments to ensure a safe and secure shopping environment for our customers.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
- Attend regular training and meetings to enhance knowledge and skills related to loss prevention.
High School Diploma Or Equivalent Education
Prior Experience In Retail Loss Prevention Or Security
Strong Knowledge Of Store Operations And Inventory Management
