Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and hardworking individual to join our team as a Plumbing Apprentice at Ace Hardware. As a part of Legacy Plumbing, you will have the opportunity to learn and grow in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment. We are looking for someone who is eager to learn and has a passion for plumbing. If you are a team player with excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic, then we want to hear from you. No previous experience is necessary, but a willingness to learn and a positive attitude are a must.   1. Assist experienced plumbers in various tasks and projects.
  2. Learn and understand plumbing concepts, techniques, and safety procedures.
  3. Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  4. Follow instructions and directions from senior plumbers.
  5. Attend training sessions and workshops to enhance plumbing skills.
  6. Handle and maintain plumbing tools and equipment.
  7. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
  8. Complete assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
  9. Learn to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  10. Identify and troubleshoot plumbing issues under the guidance of senior plumbers.
  11. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  12. Adhere to safety standards and regulations.
  13. Maintain a positive attitude and work ethic.
  14. Assist with customer service and inquiries.
  15. Continuously strive to improve and learn new skills.

Job Qualifications

  • High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Basic Education In Math, Science, And Technical Skills Is Essential For A Plumbing Apprentice Role. A High School Diploma Or Equivalent Is Typically Required For This Position.

  • Basic Plumbing Knowledge: While No Previous Plumbing Experience Is Necessary, A Basic Understanding Of Plumbing Concepts And Terminology Is Important For A Plumbing Apprentice. This Can Include Knowledge Of Pipes, Fittings, Fixtures, And Tools.

  • Physical Stamina: Plumbing Work Can Be Physically Demanding, Requiring The Ability To Stand, Bend, And Lift Heavy Objects For Extended Periods Of Time. A Plumbing Apprentice Should Be In Good Physical Shape And Able To Handle The Physical Demands Of The Job.

  • Attention To Detail: Plumbing Work Requires A High Level Of Precision And Attention To Detail. A Plumbing Apprentice Must Be Able To Accurately Measure And Cut Pipes, Follow Instructions, And Troubleshoot Problems.

  • Strong Work Ethic: A Plumbing Apprentice Must Be Reliable, Punctual, And Willing To Work Hard. This Role May Involve Long Hours And Physically Demanding Tasks, So A Strong Work Ethic Is Essential For Success. Additionally, The Ability To Work Well In A Team And Follow Directions From Experienced Plumbers Is Important In This Role.
