4. Monitor and maintain cashiers' productivity and efficiency, identifying areas for improvement and implementing training as needed.
5. Communicate with store management to ensure adequate staffing levels and coverage during busy periods.
6. Resolve any customer complaints or issues in a professional and timely manner.
7. Ensure that all cashiers are following proper procedures for handling returns, exchanges, and voids.
8. Perform regular audits of cash registers and report any discrepancies or errors.
9. Maintain a clean and organized cashier area, including restocking supplies and ensuring all equipment is in working order.
10. Collaborate with other department heads to ensure smooth operations and a positive shopping experience for customers.
11. Stay updated on current promotions, products, and pricing to accurately answer customer questions.
12. Participate in regular team meetings and provide feedback and suggestions for improving customer service and operations.
13. Uphold company policies and procedures, including safety and security protocols.
14. Act as a positive role model for the cashier team, promoting a strong work ethic and dedication to excellent customer service.
