Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Retail Management Experience: A Successful General Manager At Ace Hardware Should Have A Minimum Of 5-7 Years Of Experience In Retail Management, Preferably In The Hardware Industry. This Experience Should Include Managing Teams, Overseeing Store Operations, And Driving Sales.

  • Strong Leadership Skills: The General Manager Should Have Exceptional Leadership Skills To Lead And Motivate A Team Of Employees. This Includes The Ability To Delegate Tasks Effectively, Provide Constructive Feedback, And Foster A Positive Work Culture.

  • Business Acumen: A General Manager Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Business Operations, Including Budgeting, Financial Management, And Inventory Control. They Should Also Have Experience In Developing And Executing Business Strategies To Drive Growth And Profitability.

  • Customer Service Orientation: At Ace Hardware, Providing Excellent Customer Service Is Essential. The Ideal General Manager Should Have A Customer-Centric Mindset And A Proven Track Record Of Delivering Exceptional Customer Experiences.

  • Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As The Leader Of The Store, The General Manager Should Have Excellent Communication Skills And The Ability To Build Strong Relationships With Employees, Customers, And Stakeholders. They Should Also Be Able To Communicate Effectively With Upper Management And Represent The Store In A Professional Manner.
