
Full-Time Sales Associate with Keys

- Greet and welcome customers as they enter the store.
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers in finding products, answering questions, and making product recommendations.
- Maintain a positive and friendly attitude towards customers and colleagues.
- Develop and maintain strong product knowledge to effectively assist customers with their purchases.
- Build and maintain lasting relationships with customers to ensure repeat business.
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Keep the sales floor and displays organized, clean, and fully stocked.
- Continuously learn about new products and promotions to effectively communicate them to customers.
- Handle customer complaints and resolve any issues in a professional and timely manner.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and provide support as needed.
- Attend training sessions and meetings to stay up-to-date on company policies and procedures.
- Adhere to all safety and security protocols to ensure a safe shopping environment for customers and employees.
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve customer service and sales processes.
- Assist with inventory management, including restocking and inventory counts.
- Uphold company values and represent the Ace Hardware brand in a positive manner.
Previous Retail Sales Experience: A Qualified Candidate For This Position Should Have Prior Experience In A Retail Sales Role, Preferably In A Hardware Or Home Improvement Store.
Strong Customer Service Skills: As A Sales Associate, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Interacting With And Assisting Customers On A Daily Basis. Excellent Customer Service Skills, Including Communication And Problem-Solving, Are Essential For Success In This Role.
Knowledge Of Hardware Products: Ace Hardware Sells A Wide Range Of Hardware And Home Improvement Products. A Successful Candidate Should Have A Good Understanding Of These Products, Their Uses, And Features In Order To Effectively Assist Customers And Make Sales.
Ability To Operate A Cash Register: As A Sales Associate, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Processing Transactions And Handling Cash. Experience With Operating A Cash Register And Handling Money Is An Important Qualification For This Role.
Physical Stamina: This Position May Require Standing For Long Periods Of Time, As Well As Lifting And Moving Heavy Items. Candidates Should Be Physically Fit And Able To Handle The Physical Demands Of The Job.
