  1. Provide outstanding customer service to all Ace Hardware customers.
  2. Develop a deep understanding of all products and services offered by the store.
  3. Utilize knowledge of products to make effective recommendations to customers.
  4. Actively engage with customers to identify their needs and provide solutions.
  5. Meet and exceed sales goals set by the store management.
  6. Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, ensuring products are properly stocked and displayed.
  7. Demonstrate exceptional communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
  8. Operate the point-of-sale system accurately and efficiently.
  9. Continuously educate yourself on new products and industry trends.
  10. Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive and productive work environment.
  11. Follow all company policies and procedures to maintain a safe and secure working environment.
  12. Maintain a positive attitude and embody the Ace Hardware brand values.
  13. Attend and actively participate in team meetings and trainings.
  14. Help with inventory management and restocking of products.
  15. Contribute to the overall success of the store by actively seeking opportunities to improve sales and customer satisfaction.

Job Qualifications
  • Excellent Communication Skills: A Full Time Sales Associate At Ace Hardware Should Possess Strong Communication Skills To Effectively Interact With Customers And Provide Them With Product Information And Assistance In Making Purchasing Decisions.

  • Knowledge Of Hardware Products: Candidates Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Hardware Products Such As Tools, Building Materials, And Home Improvement Supplies. This Knowledge Will Enable Them To Assist Customers With Their Inquiries And Provide Recommendations For The Best Products To Meet Their Needs.

  • Customer Service Experience: Sales Associates At Ace Hardware Must Have Previous Experience In A Customer-Facing Role, Preferably In A Retail Environment. They Should Be Able To Handle Customer Complaints And Inquiries With Patience And Professionalism.

  • Sales Experience: A Successful Sales Associate At Ace Hardware Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Achieving Sales Targets And Meeting Or Exceeding Customer Satisfaction Goals. This Includes The Ability To Upsell And Cross-Sell Products To Increase Revenue.

  • Physical Stamina: This Position May Require Standing, Walking, And Lifting For Extended Periods, So Candidates Should Be Physically Fit And Able To Perform The Job Duties Comfortably. This Includes The Ability To Lift And Carry Heavy Items And Operate Equipment Such As Forklifts And Hand Trucks.
