  1. Supervise and oversee daily operations of the sales floor, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and in a timely manner.
  2. Train and coach sales associates on customer service techniques, product knowledge, and store policies and procedures.
  3. Monitor inventory levels and work with the team to ensure shelves are fully stocked and organized.
  4. Collaborate with management to develop and implement strategies for increasing sales and improving customer satisfaction.
  5. Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional and timely manner, resolving any issues that may arise.
  6. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to sales associates, recognizing and addressing areas for improvement.
  7. Create and maintain a positive and welcoming atmosphere for both customers and employees.
  8. Ensure that all safety guidelines and procedures are followed by all staff members.
  9. Stay up to date on industry trends and new products, making recommendations for new items to be carried in the store.
  10. Delegate tasks and responsibilities to team members, ensuring that all tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.
  11. Assist with scheduling and managing employee shifts, ensuring appropriate coverage for peak business hours.
  12. Maintain a high level of cleanliness and organization on the sales floor.
  13. Collaborate with other department supervisors and managers to ensure a cohesive and efficient store operation.
  14. Perform any other duties or tasks as assigned by store management.

Job Qualifications
  • Previous Supervisory Experience: A Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In A Supervisory Role, Preferably In A Retail Setting, Is Required For This Position. This Shows That The Candidate Has The Necessary Leadership Skills To Manage A Team Effectively.

  • Strong Communication Skills: As A Floor Supervisor, It Is Important To Effectively Communicate With Both Team Members And Customers. This Includes Being Able To Give Clear Instructions, Provide Feedback, And Handle Any Customer Complaints Or Issues.

  • Knowledge Of Hardware And Home Improvement Products: Ace Hardware Carries A Wide Range Of Products, And A Floor Supervisor Should Have A Good Understanding Of The Different Categories And Brands. This Will Help Them Assist Customers And Make Informed Decisions About Inventory Management.

  • Customer Service Experience: Ace Hardware Prides Itself On Providing Excellent Customer Service, And A Floor Supervisor Should Have A Track Record Of Delivering Outstanding Service. This Includes Being Able To Handle Difficult Situations, Resolve Conflicts, And Ensure A Positive Shopping Experience For Customers.

  • Time Management And Organizational Skills: The Role Of A Floor Supervisor Requires Multitasking And Prioritizing Tasks In A Fast-Paced Environment.
