  1. Lead and manage a team of associates within a designated department.
  2. Ensure exceptional customer service is provided at all times.
  3. Create and maintain a positive and welcoming atmosphere for customers.
  4. Train and develop team members to provide excellent service and product knowledge.
  5. Oversee inventory management and ensure stock levels are maintained.
  6. Monitor sales and set targets for the department.
  7. Collaborate with other department leads to ensure overall store operations run smoothly.
  8. Identify and address any customer concerns or complaints in a timely and effective manner.
  9. Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
  10. Contribute to the recruitment and onboarding of new team members.
  11. Continuously improve processes and procedures to increase efficiency and productivity.
  12. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and product knowledge to effectively assist customers.
  13. Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling, budgeting, and performance evaluations.
  14. Serve as a role model for the team by exhibiting strong leadership skills and a positive attitude.
  15. Foster a culture of teamwork, collaboration, and open communication within the department and store.

Job Qualifications
  • Previous Leadership Experience: A Department Lead At Ace Hardware Should Have Prior Experience In A Supervisory Or Management Role, Demonstrating Strong Leadership Skills And The Ability To Manage A Team Effectively.
