- Oversee daily operations of the retail store and ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

- Handle escalated customer inquiries and complaints, ensuring timely and satisfactory resolution.

- Perform regular audits to maintain store presentation and cleanliness standards.
- Conduct regular reviews of staff performance and provide constructive feedback for improvement.
- Create and implement employee schedules to ensure adequate coverage and efficient use of resources.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures and ensure staff compliance as well.
- Maintain a safe and secure store environment by enforcing safety protocols and procedures.
- Assist with store merchandising and product displays to maximize sales potential.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and local market conditions to identify opportunities for growth.
- Collaborate with the Store Manager to develop and implement promotional strategies to increase store traffic and sales.
- Assist with hiring and onboarding of new staff members.
- Act as a role model for the team, exhibiting a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
Strong Leadership Skills: An Assistant Store Manager At Ace Hardware Should Have Experience Managing And Motivating A Team Of Employees. They Should Be Able To Delegate Tasks, Provide Guidance And Support, And Lead By Example.
Retail Experience: This Position Requires A Strong Understanding Of Retail Operations, Including Inventory Management, Customer Service, And Sales Techniques. Candidates Should Have Previous Experience Working In A Retail Environment, Preferably In A Managerial Role.
