Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Workday West Certified Payroll Lead to join our dynamic team at Accenture. As a certified expert in Workday payroll processes, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll for our clients. This role requires a strong understanding of payroll laws and regulations, as well as the ability to lead and mentor a team of payroll specialists.   1. Review and analyze payroll data to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations.
  2. Serve as the lead subject matter expert for Workday payroll processes and provide guidance and support to the payroll team.
  3. Develop and maintain payroll processes and procedures to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
  4. Stay up-to-date with current payroll laws and regulations and ensure compliance within the company.
  5. Manage and process payroll for multiple clients, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
  6. Lead and mentor a team of payroll specialists, providing training and support as needed.
  7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve any payroll related issues.
  8. Communicate with clients to address any payroll inquiries or concerns.
  9. Monitor and analyze payroll reports to identify and resolve any discrepancies.
  10. Continuously evaluate and improve payroll processes to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
  11. Ensure the confidentiality and security of all payroll information.
  12. Participate in Workday updates and implementations, providing expertise on payroll processes.
  13. Collaborate with HR and finance teams to ensure accurate and timely reporting of payroll data.
  14. Provide support for payroll audits and assist with any related inquiries.
  15. Act as a representative for the company in all matters related to payroll.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience With Workday Payroll: The Ideal Candidate For This Role Should Have A Deep Understanding And Hands-On Experience With Workday Payroll, Including Configuration, Testing, And Troubleshooting. This Qualification Is Crucial In Effectively Leading The Payroll Team And Ensuring Accurate And Timely Payroll Processing.

  • Certified Workday Professional: Accenture Requires Candidates For This Position To Hold At Least One Workday Certification, Preferably In Payroll.   • Payroll Compliance Knowledge: As A Workday West Certified Payroll Lead, The Candidate Must Have A Thorough Understanding Of Payroll Regulations And Compliance Requirements In The West Region. This Includes Knowledge Of Federal, State, And Local Tax Laws, As Well As Wage And Hour Regulations.

  • Strong Leadership Skills: This Role Requires Leading A Team Of Payroll Professionals, So The Candidate Must Possess Exceptional Leadership Skills. This Includes The Ability To Effectively Communicate, Delegate Tasks, And Provide Guidance And Direction To Team Members.

  • Project Management Experience: As A Lead, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Managing And Delivering Payroll Projects For Clients. Therefore, Experience In Project Management, Including Planning, Organizing, And Overseeing Project Tasks, Is A Crucial Qualification For This Role.
