- Develop and implement strategies for the effective use of geospatial data and technology in the utilities industry
- Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and provide tailored GIS solutions
- Manage a team of GIS professionals to ensure high quality and timely delivery of projects
- Stay updated on industry trends, advancements, and best practices in utilities GIS
- Conduct regular analyses and evaluations of GIS systems and processes to identify areas for improvement
- Train and mentor team members on GIS tools and techniques
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and other stakeholders
- Communicate project progress and updates to clients and internal teams
- Ensure compliance with data privacy and security regulations
- Participate in business development activities and contribute to proposal writing and presentations
- Provide technical expertise and support to other teams and projects within the company.
Experience In Project Management, Including Managing Budgets, Timelines, And Resources.
Bachelor's Degree In Geographic Information Systems (Gis), Geography, Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Utilities Industry, With A Focus On Gis Data Management And Analysis.
Strong Knowledge Of Gis Software, Such As Arcgis, Qgis, Or Mapinfo, And Ability To Create And Maintain Spatial Databases.
Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Manage A Team Of Gis Professionals.
