  1. Lead GIS projects: The Utilities GIS Manager will be responsible for leading GIS projects for clients in the utilities industry. This includes managing timelines, resources, and budgets to ensure successful project delivery.
  2. Develop GIS strategies: The candidate will be expected to develop GIS strategies for clients, including identifying opportunities for improvement and recommending solutions to enhance their GIS capabilities.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams: The Utilities GIS Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and successful execution of GIS projects. This includes collaborating with consultants, developers, and engineers to develop and implement GIS solutions.
  4. Manage client relationships: The candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with clients in the utilities industry. This includes understanding their needs and providing exceptional customer service to ensure client satisfaction.

  7. Stay updated on industry trends: The candidate will be responsible for staying updated on the latest trends and advancements in GIS technology and the utilities industry. This includes attending conferences, webinars, and other industry events.
  8. Ensure quality assurance: The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of GIS deliverables, including data accuracy, completeness, and integrity.
  9. Manage project timelines and budgets: The Utilities GIS Manager will be responsible for managing project timelines and budgets to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  10. Drive innovation: The candidate will be expected to drive innovation in GIS by identifying new technologies and tools that can help improve processes and enhance client outcomes.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Gis, Geography, Computer Science, Or Related Field

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Gis Management, Preferably In The Utilities Industry

  • Strong Understanding Of Gis Software, Such As Esri Arcgis, And Related Technologies

  • Experience Managing And Leading A Team Of Gis Professionals

  • Knowledge Of Utility Industry Data And Processes, Such As Asset Management And Network Analysis.
