Splunk SRE
Support major Incidents by adjusting existing or instrumenting new monitoring to address monitoring deficiencies. Support Problem Management's enterprise root cause analysis (RCA) processes. Capture technical information from the relevant stakeholders and synthesize it into useful information in various formats for senior management. Utilize knowledge of technical excellence with continuous delivery, automated testing, security methodologies, system performance, and disaster recovery concepts. Navigate through a product outage, identify performance bottlenecks, spot anomalous system behavior, and figure out the root cause of incidents. Use independent judgment to make sound, justifiable decisions and take action to solve problems.
Minimum 3 years of experience with Splunk Admin
Minimum 3 years of experience with Unix/Linux systems from kernel to shell and beyond, taking in system libraries, file systems
Experience working in Agile practices
Experience building or operating high-performance distributed systems
Exposure to any Big Data / Monitoring platforms Coding experience
