Design of consumer electronics devices working across the full product development cycle. Flexible circuit modeling and design. Collaborate cross-functionally (ID, EE, SW/ES) to bring about the best design solutions possible ECAD/MCAD Exchange. Export, clean up and conform to ID surfaces. Mounting methods for precision optical components. Working knowledge of standard plastic and metal parts manufacturing and design constraints associated with fabrication. Create and refine mechanical part and assembly drawings and models.
2+ years of career experience in design and production of consumer electronics
2+ years of experience and demonstrated proficiency with ME CAD Tools; NX & Teamcenter Preferred
Design fundamentals and manufacturing knowledge of plastic injection molding, PCBA and flex design, sheet metal, and die-cuts
