Job Description

Are you an experienced Mainframe Developer looking for a new challenge? Accenture is looking for a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Mainframe Developer. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, has a passion for developing solutions, and has a keen eye for detail.At Accenture, you will have the opportunity to work on projects that will shape the future of our clients. To be successful in this role, you must have a strong background in development, be an excellent problem solver, and have an understanding of the mainframe environment. You will be responsible for developing, testing, and supporting software applications on the mainframe platform.The successful candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in mainframe development, a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, and strong communication skills. Knowledge of JCL, COBOL, CICS, DB2, and VSAM is also required. If you have a passion for making a difference and are looking for an exciting new challenge, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop, test, and support software applications on the mainframe platform.
  2. Troubleshoot and debug mainframe software applications.
  3. Work with end users to identify and resolve software issues.
  4. Create and maintain technical documentation.
  5. Monitor software system performance.
  6. Collaborate with other technical teams to ensure the successful completion of projects.
  7. Provide technical support to end users.
  8. Ensure compliance with industry standards.
  9. Keep up to date with emerging technologies and trends in the industry.
