Job Description

Do you have experience managing environmental compliance for infrastructure and capital projects? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Construction Environmental Compliance Manager at Accenture.In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all construction projects comply with environmental regulations and company policies. You will work closely with project managers, contractors, and government agencies to identify potential environmental risks and develop strategies to mitigate them. With your expertise and leadership, you will play a crucial role in promoting environmentally responsible practices within our organization and across the construction industry.To excel in this role, you must have a strong understanding of environmental regulations and construction processes, as well as excellent communication and project management skills. A degree in environmental science, engineering, or a related field is required, along with at least 3 years of experience in construction environmental compliance.   1. Develop and implement company-wide environmental compliance policies and procedures related to construction projects.
  2. Collaborate with project managers to identify potential environmental risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  3. Conduct thorough environmental impact assessments for all construction projects.
  4. Monitor and track compliance with environmental regulations and company policies throughout the construction process.
  5. Communicate regularly with contractors and other stakeholders to ensure understanding and adherence to environmental requirements.
  6. Serve as the main point of contact for government agencies and regulatory bodies regarding environmental compliance for construction projects.
  7. Stay up-to-date on all relevant environmental regulations and industry best practices.
  8. Train and educate project teams on environmental compliance requirements and best practices.
  9. Conduct audits and inspections to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and company policies.
  10. Provide guidance and support to project teams in the event of environmental incidents or emergencies.
  11. Collaborate with internal departments to develop and implement sustainability initiatives within the construction industry.
  12. Prepare and submit reports to management and regulatory agencies regarding environmental compliance for construction projects.
  13. Lead and participate in industry conferences and events to promote environmentally responsible practices.
  14. Mentor and coach junior team members on environmental compliance and sustainability.
  15. Continuously evaluate and improve environmental compliance processes and procedures.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Environmental Science, Engineering, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Environmental Compliance Management For Infrastructure And Capital Projects In The Construction Industry.

  • Working Knowledge Of Federal, State, And Local Environmental Regulations And Requirements.

  • Experience Developing And Implementing Environmental Compliance Plans And Monitoring Systems.

  • Strong Project Management Skills And The Ability To Coordinate With Multiple Stakeholders To Ensure Compliance With Environmental Regulations Throughout The Project Lifecycle.
