  • Extensive Experience With Epic System: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding And Proficiency In Working With The Epic System, Including Its Operational Database. They Should Be Able To Handle Complex Tasks Such As Data Extraction, Transformation, And Loading (Etl) Processes, Data Modeling And Optimization, And Performance Tuning.

  • Strong Technical Skills: A Successful Epic Operational Database Administrator Should Possess Strong Technical Skills In Database Management, Sql, And Scripting. They Should Also Have A Solid Understanding Of Server And Network Infrastructure, As Well As Experience With Database Administration Tools.

  • Knowledge Of Healthcare Industry: The Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of The Healthcare Industry And Its Regulations, As The Role Involves Managing Sensitive Patient Data. They Should Also Be Familiar With Healthcare-Specific Database Standards, Such As Hl7 And Fhir.
