Epic Hospital Billing Consultant

The ideal candidate will have a natural focus on customer service, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to accuracy.The Epic Hospital Billing Consultant will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of all billing and coding activities across multiple Epic systems. They will work closely with clients to ensure that billing and coding is handled in a professional and compliant manner, while providing excellent customer service.The successful candidate must have a minimum of 2 years of Epic Hospital Billing experience, a Bachelor’s degree in Health Care Administration or a related field, and a solid understanding of health care regulations. Previous experience in a hospital setting is preferred.

Responsibilities:

1. Accurately and timely process billing and coding activities across multiple Epic Systems.
2. Maintain compliance with all applicable health care regulations.
3. Provide excellent customer service to clients.
4. Troubleshoot and resolve billing and coding issues.
5. Update and maintain billing and coding records.
6. Contribute to process improvement initiatives.
7. Keep abreast of industry trends and best practices.
8. Assist in the training and onboarding of new staff.
9. Support other departments with billing and coding tasks, when needed.
10. Adhere to all HIPAA and corporate guidelines.
