  1. Develop and maintain applications and systems using Confluent Kafka technology.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement solutions that meet client needs.
  3. Participate in all phases of the software development life cycle, including requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, and deployment.
  4. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to Confluent Kafka.
  5. Stay updated on the latest trends and developments in Confluent Kafka and make recommendations for incorporating new features and functionality into projects.
  6. Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
  7. Communicate with clients to understand their business requirements and provide technical guidance on Confluent Kafka solutions.
  8. Work with project managers to define project timelines, deliverables, and resource requirements.
  9. Continuously improve processes and procedures related to Confluent Kafka development and implementation.
  10. Mentor and train junior developers on Confluent Kafka and related technologies.
  11. Adhere to company standards and best practices for software development and delivery.
  12. Keep up-to-date documentation of all Confluent Kafka systems and processes.
  13. Collaborate with other developers and stakeholders to identify and resolve technical dependencies and roadblocks.
  14. Participate in conferences and training to stay current with industry developments and best practices.
  15. Exhibit a strong commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.

Job Qualifications

  • Proficiency In Confluent Kafka: A Strong Understanding And Experience With Confluent Kafka Is Essential For This Role. This Includes Knowledge Of Kafka Architecture, Configuration, And Administration.

  • Experience With Kafka Ecosystem: In Addition To Confluent Kafka, Candidates Should Have Experience With Other Kafka Ecosystem Components Such As Kafka Connect, Kafka Streams, And Schema Registry.

  • Programming Skills: A Solid Foundation In Programming Languages Such As Java, Python, Or Scala Is Necessary For Developing And Maintaining Kafka Applications. Familiarity With Scripting Languages Like Bash And Shell Is Also Beneficial.

  • Data Streaming Experience: Candidates Should Have Experience With Real-Time Data Streaming And Processing, As Well As Knowledge Of Technologies Such As Apache Spark, Flink, Or Storm.

  • Strong Problem-Solving Skills: This Role Requires The Ability To Troubleshoot And Resolve Complex Issues Related To Kafka And Its Ecosystem. Candidates Should Have A Strong Analytical Mindset And Be Able To Think Critically To Find Solutions.
