- Develop security policies, procedures, and guidelines for application modernization projects.

- Evaluate and recommend security tools and technologies to enhance the security of client applications.
- Monitor and manage security incidents, providing timely response and resolution.
- Work closely with project managers and team members to ensure security measures are integrated into all stages of application modernization.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and provide mitigation strategies for potential security threats.
- Collaborate with third-party vendors and partners to ensure security measures are being met.
- Continuously review and improve security processes and procedures to align with industry standards and best practices.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members.
- Document security processes and procedures for reference and future use.
In-Depth Knowledge Of Application Security Best Practices: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Industry-Standard Security Frameworks And Guidelines, Such As Owasp Top 10, Sans 25, And Nist Cybersecurity Framework.
Experience With Application Modernization Projects: The Consultant Should Have Hands-On Experience In Working On Application Modernization Projects, Including Legacy Application Migration, Containerization, And Microservices Architecture.
Proficiency In Security Tools And Techniques: The Candidate Should Be Proficient In Using Security Tools Such As Static And Dynamic Code Analysis, Penetration Testing, And Vulnerability Scanning To Identify And Remediate Security Vulnerabilities In Applications.
Strong Understanding Of Cloud Security: As Application Modernization Often Involves Migrating Applications To The Cloud, The Consultant Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Cloud Security Principles And Hands-On Experience With Cloud Security Solutions Such As Aws, Azure, Or Google Cloud Platform.
