• Develop and implement a comprehensive sustainability strategy that aligns with ABM Industries' overall business objectives and values
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in sustainability and environmental management to continuously improve our sustainability initiatives
• Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to identify opportunities for sustainability improvements and develop action plans to implement them
• Monitor and track sustainability performance metrics and report on progress to senior management and external stakeholders
• Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with sustainability standards and regulations
• Serve as the main point of contact for all sustainability-related inquiries and communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders
• Lead and facilitate training and awareness programs to educate employees on sustainability practices and encourage engagement and participation
• Identify and implement cost-saving measures through sustainable practices and initiatives
• Develop and maintain relationships with external organizations and partners to exchange knowledge, resources, and best practices in sustainability
• Act as a sustainability ambassador for ABM Industries, promoting our sustainability efforts and successes to the public and media.
