- Oversee and manage the cleaning operations at multiple facilities to ensure they meet our high standards of quality and cleanliness.
- Train and supervise a team of janitorial staff, providing guidance, support, and feedback to ensure they are performing their duties effectively and efficiently.
- Develop and maintain cleaning schedules for each facility, ensuring that all areas are cleaned and maintained according to client expectations and industry standards.
- Monitor and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring that all necessary items are available and in good working condition.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of facilities to identify any areas that require additional attention or improvement.
- Communicate regularly with clients to address any concerns or requests and maintain a positive working relationship.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies, providing training and education to staff as needed.
- Create and implement training programs for new hires and ongoing training for current staff to maintain high-quality standards and efficient cleaning practices.
- Keep accurate records of cleaning schedules, inventory, and staff performance to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with management to develop and implement new strategies to improve efficiency and effectiveness of janitorial services.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide regular feedback to staff, recognizing strong performance and addressing any areas for improvement.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve janitorial services and maintain a competitive edge.
Experience In The Janitorial Industry: A Janitorial Supervisor At Abm Industries Should Have Prior Experience Working In The Janitorial Industry, Preferably In A Supervisory Role. This Experience Will Ensure They Have A Good Understanding Of The Job Duties And Responsibilities, As Well As Knowledge Of Industry Standards And Best Practices.
Strong Leadership And Management Skills: As A Supervisor, The Candidate Should Possess Strong Leadership And Management Skills To Effectively Oversee And Direct A Team Of Janitorial Staff. This Includes The Ability To Delegate Tasks, Provide Guidance And Support, And Handle Any Conflicts That May Arise.
