- Oversee and manage the cleaning and maintenance operations of our clients' facilities.
- Ensure that all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards of cleanliness.
- Train and supervise janitorial staff to ensure they are following proper procedures and meeting performance expectations.
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure that all areas are properly cleaned and maintained.
- Monitor and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring that they are used effectively and efficiently.
- Respond to and resolve any client concerns or complaints regarding cleanliness and maintenance.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their specific cleaning needs and ensure those needs are met.
- Create and maintain a positive working relationship with clients, staff, and management.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while on the job site.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and implement new techniques and processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness of janitorial operations.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to janitorial staff.
- Identify and address any maintenance or repair needs in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of cleaning schedules, tasks, and any incidents.
- Uphold the company's values and standards while representing ABM Industries.
Previous Experience In Janitorial Or Facility Management: A Janitorial Supervisor At Abm Industries Should Have At Least 2-3 Years Of Experience In A Similar Role, Preferably In A Commercial Or Industrial Setting.
Strong Leadership And Communication Skills: As A Supervisor, The Individual Should Have Excellent Communication Skills To Effectively Manage A Team Of Janitorial Staff. They Should Also Be Able To Provide Clear Instructions And Motivate Their Team To Maintain High Standards Of Cleanliness.
Knowledge Of Cleaning Equipment And Supplies: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Good Understanding Of Different Types Of Cleaning Equipment And Supplies, Including Their Usage, Safety Guidelines, And Maintenance. This Will Ensure Proper Utilization Of Resources And Efficient Cleaning Procedures.
Attention To Detail And Problem-Solving Abilities: The Janitorial Supervisor Should Have A Keen Eye For Detail To Identify Areas That Need Attention And Address Any Issues That May Arise. They Should Also Be Able To Come Up With Solutions To Resolve Any Problems Efficiently.
Time Management And Organizational Skills: Abm Industries Values Efficiency And Timeliness In Their Operations. The Janitorial Supervisor Should Be Able To Manage Their Time Effectively To Ensure That All Tasks Are Completed Within The Designated Time Frame. They Should Also Have Excellent Organizational Skills To Prioritize Tasks And Maintain A Clean And Organized Work Environment.
