- Oversee and supervise the daily operations of the janitorial staff, ensuring all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures to maintain a high level of cleanliness and sanitation in all areas of the facility.
- Train and guide janitorial staff on proper cleaning techniques and safety protocols.
- Monitor inventory levels and order necessary cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure all areas of the facility are up to company standards.
- Address and resolve any cleaning or maintenance issues in a timely manner.
- Maintain open communication with facility managers and provide regular updates on the status of cleaning operations.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Create and maintain a positive and professional work environment for janitorial staff.
- Complete performance evaluations and provide feedback and coaching to janitorial staff.
- Assist with hiring and training new janitorial staff members.
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate cleaning and maintenance efforts for special events or projects.
- Keep updated records of cleaning schedules, supply orders, and staff attendance.
- Continuously assess and improve cleaning procedures to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Act as a role model for janitorial staff by exhibiting a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Janitorial Supervisor At Abm Industries Should Have At Least A High School Diploma Or Equivalent Educational Qualification. This Ensures A Basic Level Of Education And Knowledge Necessary For The Job.
Previous Experience In Janitorial Or Cleaning Services: Applicants Should Have Prior Experience In Janitorial Or Cleaning Services, Preferably In A Supervisory Role. This Experience Will Demonstrate Their Knowledge Of Cleaning Techniques, Equipment, And Products, As Well As Their Ability To Manage A Team.
