As a Fleet Manager at ABM Industries, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our company's fleet of vehicles.   1. Oversee the daily operations of the company's fleet of vehicles, including maintenance, repair, and scheduling.
  2. Develop and implement policies and procedures for the safe and efficient use of company vehicles.
  3. Monitor and track vehicle usage, fuel consumption, and maintenance costs to identify areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
  4. Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
  5. Hire, train, and manage a team of fleet technicians and drivers, providing guidance and support as needed.
  6. Collaborate with other departments to ensure the timely delivery of goods and services to clients.
  7. Maintain accurate records and documentation for all fleet-related activities, including vehicle registrations, insurance, and maintenance logs.
  8. Develop and manage budgets for fleet operations, including forecasting and cost analysis.
  9. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and advancements in fleet management technology to continuously improve processes and operations.
  10. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and effective communication among team members.
  11. Investigate and resolve any issues or incidents related to the fleet, ensuring prompt and effective resolution.
  12. Ensure all vehicles are properly equipped and maintained to meet safety and regulatory standards.
  13. Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to negotiate favorable pricing and terms for fleet-related services and products.
  14. Provide regular reports and updates to upper management on fleet performance, costs, and any notable developments or concerns.
  15. Lead by example, promoting a culture of safety, accountability, and excellence within the fleet management team.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Logistics, Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In Fleet Management Or Related Field.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Vehicle Maintenance And Repair Procedures.

  • Excellent Organizational And Leadership Skills.

  • Proficient In Utilizing Fleet Management Software And Other Technology.
