  1. Manage and maintain the company's fleet of vehicles, ensuring they are in good working condition and meet all safety standards.
  2. Develop and implement fleet management policies and procedures to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  3. Monitor and track fleet usage, including fuel consumption, maintenance schedules, and vehicle assignments.
  4. Coordinate with various departments to ensure timely and effective use of company vehicles.
  5. Oversee the selection and purchase of new vehicles, negotiating favorable terms with suppliers.
  6. Conduct regular inspections and audits of vehicles to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.
  7. Maintain accurate records of vehicle inventory, maintenance schedules, and expenses.
  8. Hire, train, and supervise fleet personnel, including drivers and mechanics.
  9. Evaluate and make recommendations for equipment upgrades and replacements.
  10. Collaborate with the finance department to develop and manage the fleet budget.
  11. Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to identify areas for improvement in fleet operations.
  12. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations related to fleet management.
  13. Address any fleet-related issues or concerns raised by clients or employees promptly and effectively.
  14. Foster a culture of safety and compliance within the fleet department.
  15. Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback and coaching to fleet team members.
  16. Collaborate with other departments to identify opportunities for cross-functional improvements and cost-saving measures.
  17. Communicate regularly with senior management to provide updates on fleet operations and performance.
  18. Represent the company in a professional manner when interacting with clients, vendors, and other stakeholders.
  19. Continuously assess and improve fleet processes and procedures to ensure maximum efficiency and effectiveness.
  20. Uphold the company's values and promote a positive work environment for all fleet team members.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration Or A Related Field

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Fleet Management, Preferably In A Large-Scale Organization

  • Proven Track Record In Implementing Cost-Effective Strategies To Improve Fleet Efficiency And Reduce Operational Costs

  • Knowledge Of Federal And State Regulations Related To Fleet Operations, Including Dot And Osha Requirements

  • Strong Leadership And Communication Skills, With The Ability To Manage And Motivate A Team Of Drivers And Maintenance Staff
