  1. Develop and implement strategies to optimize fleet operations and reduce costs.
  2. Oversee the maintenance and repair of all company vehicles to ensure they are safe and in compliance with regulations.
  3. Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of parts and services for the fleet.
  4. Monitor and analyze fleet data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  5. Develop and manage budgets for fleet operations and maintenance.
  6. Ensure all vehicles are properly registered, licensed, and insured.
  7. Manage a team of drivers and ensure they are trained and compliant with company policies and procedures.
  8. Communicate with other departments to understand their transportation needs and provide solutions.
  9. Collaborate with upper management to develop and implement fleet policies and procedures.
  10. Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure fleet compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
  11. Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, and regulatory agencies.
  12. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in fleet management technology.
  13. Address any issues or concerns related to fleet operations in a timely and efficient manner.
  14. Foster a culture of safety and efficiency within the fleet.
  15. Prepare and present reports on fleet performance and make recommendations for improvement to senior management.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Logistics, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Fleet Management, Preferably In A Similar Industry.

  • Knowledge Of Federal And State Regulations Related To Fleet Operations, Including Dot And Osha.

  • Strong Leadership Skills And The Ability To Effectively Manage A Team Of Drivers And Technicians.

  • Experience With Fleet Management Software And Technology, Including Gps Tracking And Maintenance Scheduling Systems.
