- Oversee and manage the company's fleet of vehicles, including maintenance, repair, and replacement processes.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize fleet operations, including cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
- Ensure compliance with all transportation regulations and safety standards.
- Monitor fleet performance and make recommendations for improvements.
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate transportation needs and ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods and services.
- Hire, train, and supervise fleet personnel, including drivers and mechanics.
- Maintain accurate records of fleet operations, including vehicle inventory, maintenance schedules, and expense reports.
- Conduct regular inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and maximize vehicle lifespan.
- Manage relationships with external vendors and negotiate contracts for vehicle purchases, maintenance, and repairs.
- Stay informed about industry trends and advancements in transportation technology to continuously improve fleet operations.
- Communicate effectively with team members and upper management to provide updates on fleet performance and make recommendations for improvements.
- Foster a culture of safety and compliance within the fleet department.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients to understand their transportation needs and ensure they are being met.
- Continuously monitor and analyze fleet data to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven decisions.
Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Logistics, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Fleet Management Or Related Field.
Strong Knowledge Of Fleet Maintenance, Logistics, And Compliance Regulations.
Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills.
