- Conduct thorough inspections of client buildings to identify any potential safety or functionality issues
- Keep up-to-date with building codes and regulations to ensure compliance during inspections
- Communicate findings and recommendations to clients and management in a clear and concise manner
- Collaborate with facility management team to develop and implement effective solutions for identified issues
- Maintain accurate and detailed inspection reports for each client building
- Coordinate with external contractors and service providers for necessary repairs and maintenance
- Monitor and track progress of identified issues to ensure timely resolution
- Conduct follow-up inspections to ensure all identified issues have been addressed
- Continuously strive to maintain high standards of quality and safety for all client buildings
- Act as a point of contact for client inquiries and concerns related to facility inspections
- Attend training and development sessions to enhance knowledge and skills related to facility management and inspections.
Knowledge Of Building Codes And Standards: A Facility Inspector At Abm Industries Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Local, State, And Federal Building Codes And Standards To Ensure That All Facilities Comply With Regulations.
Experience In Facility Maintenance: Candidates Should Have A Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Facility Maintenance Or A Related Field. This Experience Should Include Knowledge Of Hvac, Plumbing, Electrical, And Other Building Systems.
Attention To Detail: A Facility Inspector Must Be Detail-Oriented And Have A Keen Eye For Identifying Potential Issues Or Hazards In A Facility. They Should Be Able To Conduct Thorough Inspections And Accurately Document Their Findings.
Excellent Communication Skills: Strong Written And Verbal Communication Skills Are Essential For A Facility Inspector, As They Will Need To Effectively Communicate Their Findings And Recommendations To Clients And Team Members.
