- Coordinate and oversee day-to-day operations of multiple facilities within the company.
- Ensure all facilities are well-maintained, clean, and safe for employees and visitors.
- Monitor and manage facility budgets and expenses.
- Develop and implement efficient and cost-effective processes for facility management.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify and address any maintenance or safety issues.
- Collaborate with various departments to coordinate and schedule facility repairs and maintenance.
- Manage relationships with vendors and contractors to ensure timely and high-quality services.
- Maintain accurate records of facility maintenance, repairs, and expenses.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with company policies and procedures related to facilities.
- Develop and implement emergency response protocols in case of facility-related incidents.
- Act as a point of contact for employees regarding facility-related concerns or requests.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and make recommendations for improvement.
- Train and supervise facility staff as needed.
- Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, including senior management.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve and streamline facility operations.
Knowledge Of Facility Operations And Maintenance: A Facilities Coordinator At Abm Industries Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Building Systems And Maintenance Procedures, Including Hvac, Electrical, Plumbing, And General Repairs.
Organizational Skills: This Role Requires Excellent Organizational Skills To Manage Multiple Tasks And Projects Simultaneously, As Well As Maintain Accurate Records And Documentation.
Communication Skills: Effective Communication Is Critical In This Role As The Facilities Coordinator Will Be Responsible For Coordinating With Various Departments, Vendors, And Contractors, As Well As Providing Updates To Management And Stakeholders.
Problem-Solving Abilities: The Facilities Coordinator Must Be Able To Quickly Identify And Resolve Issues That Arise In The Facility, Whether It Is A Maintenance Problem Or A Scheduling Conflict.
Experience With Facility Management Software: A Strong Understanding Of Facility Management Software Is Essential For This Role, As The Facilities Coordinator Will Be Responsible For Creating Work Orders, Tracking Inventory, And Generating Reports. Experience With Computer-Aided Facilities Management (Cafm) Software Is A Plus.
