As a Custodial Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our facilities.   1. Oversee and manage the custodial team to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  2. Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures to maintain a high level of cleanliness and sanitation in all areas of the facility.
  3. Train and mentor custodial staff on proper cleaning techniques, safety protocols, and company policies.
  4. Monitor and maintain inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as needed.
  5. Conduct regular inspections to ensure standards are being met and address any issues or concerns in a timely manner.
  6. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless coordination and communication for special events and projects.
  7. Manage custodial budget and resources to optimize efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  8. Ensure compliance with company and industry safety standards and regulations.
  9. Provide exceptional customer service to clients and address any concerns or complaints in a professional and timely manner.
  10. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments to continually improve and enhance facility services.
  11. Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Job Qualifications

  • High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Minimum Of A High School Diploma Or Equivalent Is Typically Required For A Custodial Supervisor Role At Abm Industries. This Demonstrates A Basic Level Of Education And The Ability To Comprehend Instructions And Communicate Effectively.

  • Previous Supervisory Experience: Abm Industries Typically Requires Candidates For A Custodial Supervisor Role To Have Prior Supervisory Experience In A Similar Industry. This Shows The Ability To Lead And Manage A Team Effectively.

  • Knowledge Of Cleaning Protocols And Equipment: A Custodial Supervisor Must Have A Thorough Understanding Of Cleaning Protocols And Equipment In Order To Properly Train And Supervise Custodial Staff. This Includes Knowledge Of Chemicals, Safety Procedures, And Proper Use Of Equipment.

  • Attention To Detail And Ability To Multitask: Attention To Detail Is Essential For A Custodial Supervisor As They Are Responsible For Ensuring That All Cleaning Tasks Are Completed To The Highest Standard. The Ability To Multitask And Prioritize Tasks Is Also Important In Order To Meet Deadlines And Manage A Large Workload.
