Develop and implement supply planning strategies to ensure timely and efficient delivery of medicines to patients.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, finance, and logistics, to ensure alignment and coordination in supply planning.
Monitor and analyze supply chain performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven decisions.
Oversee the demand forecasting process to ensure accurate and timely production planning.
Manage inventory levels and work closely with suppliers to optimize inventory levels and minimize supply chain risks.
Lead the development of supply chain contingency plans to mitigate potential disruptions.
Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain efficiency and effectiveness.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices in supply chain management.
Communicate supply chain performance and issues to senior management and provide recommendations for improvement.
Mentor and develop team members to ensure a high-performing and motivated supply planning team.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support supply chain objectives.
Drive cost-saving initiatives and negotiate contracts with suppliers to optimize supply chain costs.
Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and regulations related to supply chain management.
Represent AbbVie in external forums and conferences related to supply chain management.
Act as a brand ambassador for AbbVie, promoting the company's mission, values, and culture.

Job Qualifications

Extensive Experience In Supply Chain Management: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 7-10 Years Of Experience In Supply Chain Management, With A Strong Understanding Of End-To-End Supply Chain Processes And Global Supply Chain Networks.
Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills: A Supply Planning Manager Must Have The Ability To Analyze Complex Data And Identify Trends And Patterns To Make Informed Decisions. They Should Also Have A Proven Track Record Of Solving Supply Chain Challenges And Implementing Effective Solutions.
In-Depth Knowledge Of Supply Planning Software: The Candidate Should Have Extensive Experience Working With Various Supply Planning Tools And Software, Such As Sap, Oracle, Or Jda, To Effectively Manage And Optimize The Supply Chain.
Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills: As A Manager, The Candidate Should Have Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills To Effectively Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams, Manage Stakeholders, And Lead A Team Of Supply Chain Professionals.
Understanding Of Regulatory And Compliance Requirements: A Supply Planning Manager Must Have A Thorough Understanding Of Global Regulatory And Compliance Requirements Related To The Pharmaceutical Industry. This Includes Knowledge Of Good Manufacturing Practices (Gmp), Good Distribution Practices (Gdp), And Other Relevant Regulations.
