- Develop and implement information security strategies that align with AbbVie's overall business goals and objectives.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and develop plans to mitigate them.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that security measures are integrated into all processes and systems.
- Monitor and analyze security trends and emerging threats to continuously improve the company's information security posture.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and standards to ensure AbbVie's compliance with regulations and laws.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and senior leadership to communicate the value of information security initiatives.
- Lead the planning and execution of security awareness training for all employees.
- Manage and oversee the implementation of security controls and technologies.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Continuously evaluate and improve the effectiveness of information security processes and programs.
- Develop and manage the information security budget and resources.
- Prepare and present reports on security metrics and progress to senior leadership.
- Serve as a subject matter expert and provide guidance and support to other team members.
- Foster a culture of security awareness and responsibility throughout the organization.
- Respond to and manage security incidents, including conducting investigations and implementing remediation plans.
Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Information Technology, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Information Security, With An Emphasis On Developing And Implementing Security Strategies.
Strong Understanding Of Network And System Security, Including Firewalls, Encryption, And Intrusion Detection/Prevention Systems.
Knowledge Of Industry Standards And Regulations, Such As Hipaa, Gdpr, And Iso 27001.
Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Provide Strategic Direction For Information Security Initiatives.
