- Develop and implement EH&S policies and procedures in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential hazards and develop strategies to mitigate risks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with EH&S regulations and standards.
- Provide training and guidance to employees on best practices for workplace safety and environmental sustainability.
- Investigate incidents and accidents to identify root causes and develop corrective actions.
- Monitor and analyze EH&S data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory agencies and industry partners.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and changes in EH&S regulations to ensure compliance.
- Conduct audits and assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of EH&S programs.
- Lead emergency response and crisis management efforts as needed.
- Communicate EH&S initiatives and updates to employees at all levels of the organization.
- Develop and manage EH&S budgets and resources.
- Act as a liaison between the company and external stakeholders on EH&S matters.
- Participate in industry conferences and events to share best practices and stay informed on emerging trends.
- Continuously evaluate and improve EH&S processes and procedures to promote a culture of safety and sustainability.
Bachelor's Degree In Environmental Science, Occupational Health And Safety, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In A Similar Role, Preferably In The Pharmaceutical Or Biotechnology Industry.
Knowledge And Understanding Of Relevant Laws And Regulations Related To Environmental, Health, And Safety (Ehs) Compliance.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Effectively Communicate Ehs Policies And Procedures.
Professional Certifications Such As Certified Safety Professional (Csp) Or Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (Chmm) Are Preferred.
