Conduct research and experiments related to retinal immunology to support the development of new treatments for retinal diseases.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and execute experiments, analyze data, and communicate results.
Stay up-to-date with current literature and advancements in the field of retinal immunology to inform research and development strategies.
Lead and manage projects related to retinal immunology, including setting timelines, delegating tasks, and overseeing progress.
Prepare and present scientific data and findings to internal and external stakeholders, including management, colleagues, and regulatory agencies.
Maintain accurate and detailed records of experimental procedures, results, and conclusions according to company and industry standards.
Contribute to the development and optimization of new assays and techniques for retinal immunology research.
Train and mentor junior scientists and research associates on laboratory techniques and protocols.
Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and regulatory guidelines in the laboratory.
Participate in conferences, seminars, and other scientific events to share knowledge and represent AbbVie's research efforts in retinal immunology.

Job Qualifications

A Ph.d. In Immunology, Biology, Or A Related Field With At Least 5 Years Of Experience In Retinal Immunology Research.
Extensive Knowledge And Experience In Retinal Immunology, Including A Strong Understanding Of The Immune Response In Retinal Diseases.
Proven Track Record Of Successful Project Leadership And Management, With Experience In Designing And Executing Experiments, Analyzing Data, And Presenting Results.
Strong Publication Record In Peer-Reviewed Journals, Demonstrating Expertise In Retinal Immunology Research.
Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively In A Cross-Functional Team Environment.
