Responsibilities:

Serve as a subject matter expert in biopharmaceutics and drug delivery, providing guidance and support to cross-functional teams.
Design and execute experiments to develop new drug delivery systems and improve the performance of existing biopharmaceutical products.
Analyze and interpret data to draw meaningful conclusions and make recommendations for further research and development.
Collaborate with other scientists and researchers to identify and evaluate potential drug delivery technologies and strategies.
Stay current with industry trends and advancements in drug delivery and apply this knowledge to drive innovation and improve processes.
Lead and contribute to project teams, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality results.
Present research findings and project updates to internal and external stakeholders, including senior management and regulatory agencies.
Participate in the drafting and review of scientific publications, patents, and regulatory documents.
Mentor and train junior scientists, providing guidance and support for their professional development.
Maintain a safe and organized laboratory environment and adhere to all company policies and procedures.
Actively contribute to the company's culture of continuous improvement, identifying and implementing process enhancements and best practices.
Represent AbbVie at external conferences and scientific meetings, establishing and maintaining relationships with key opinion leaders in the field.

Job Qualifications

Advanced Degree: A Senior Scientist At Abbvie Should Hold An Advanced Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, Or Bioengineering.
Extensive Experience: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Minimum Of 8-10 Years Of Experience In Biopharmaceutics And Drug Delivery, Preferably In The Pharmaceutical Industry.
Strong Technical Skills: This Role Requires A Deep Understanding Of Drug Delivery Systems, Biopharmaceutics, And Formulation Development. The Candidate Should Possess Strong Technical Skills And Be Able To Apply Them To Solve Complex Problems.
Leadership Abilities: As A Senior Member Of The Team, The Candidate Should Demonstrate Strong Leadership Abilities, Including The Ability To Mentor And Guide Junior Scientists, Lead Cross-Functional Teams, And Drive Projects To Completion.
Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills: The Senior Scientist Will Be Expected To Communicate And Collaborate Effectively With Internal Teams, External Partners, And Stakeholders. Strong Presentation Skills And The Ability To Work Well In A Team Environment Are Critical For Success In This Role.
