Conduct quantitative data analysis and modeling to support drug development efforts.
Utilize expertise in pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, and model-based drug development to inform decision-making.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and execute pharmacometric strategies.
Interpret and communicate results of pharmacometric analyses to internal and external stakeholders.
Stay up-to-date on industry trends and advancements in pharmacometrics to continuously improve processes and methodologies.
Develop and maintain pharmacometric models and simulations to support drug development programs.
Lead and oversee pharmacometric analyses for multiple projects simultaneously.
Implement advanced statistical methods to analyze and interpret complex data sets.
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior pharmacometric analysts.
Participate in regulatory submissions and interact with regulatory agencies as needed.
Collaborate with external partners and vendors to support pharmacometric activities.
Continuously evaluate and improve pharmacometric processes and methodologies to ensure high quality and efficient delivery of results.

Job Qualifications

Advanced Degree In Pharmacometrics Or Related Field: A Senior Pharmacometrics Analyst At Abbvie Should Have A Minimum Of A Master’s Degree In Pharmacometrics Or A Related Field Such As Pharmacology, Biostatistics, Or Pharmaceutical Sciences. This Advanced Degree Provides The Necessary Knowledge And Skills To Perform Complex Pharmacometric Analyses.
Extensive Experience In Pharmacometric Modeling And Simulation: This Position Requires A Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Pharmacometric Modeling And Simulation, With A Focus On Population Pharmacokinetic (Pk) And Pharmacodynamic (Pd) Modeling. The Ideal Candidate Should Have Experience With Various Modeling Software, Such As Nonmem, Phoenix, Or R.
Strong Understanding Of Drug Development Processes: A Senior Pharmacometrics Analyst Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of All Phases Of Drug Development, Including Pre-Clinical, Clinical, And Post-Approval Phases. This Knowledge Is Essential In Designing And Executing Pharmacometric Analyses That Support Drug Development Decision-Making.
Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills: As A Senior Pharmacometrics Analyst, The Ability To Effectively Communicate Complex Pharmacometric Concepts And Results To Cross-Functional Teams Is Vital. This Role Also Requires Collaboration With Colleagues From Different Departments, Such As Clinical Pharmacology, Biostatistics, And Regulatory Affairs.
Proficiency In Regulatory Submissions: Abbvie Is A Highly Regulated Industry, And The Senior Pharmacometrics Analyst Should Have Experience In Preparing And Submitting Regulatory Documents, Such As Inds, Ndas, And Blas. Knowledge Of Regulatory Guidelines, Such As Fda And Ema, Is Also Necessary For This Role.
