Lead the development and implementation of AbbVie's Interactive Response Technology (IRT) systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of clinical data systems for global clinical trials.
Manage and lead a team of professionals to achieve project goals and objectives.
Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets for clinical data systems.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards for data management and reporting.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of clinical data systems.
Serve as a subject matter expert on IRT systems and provide guidance and support to team members and stakeholders.
Evaluate and select appropriate vendors for IRT systems, and manage relationships to ensure timely and high-quality deliverables.
Develop and maintain documentation and training materials for clinical data systems.
Act as a key liaison between the Clinical Data Systems team and other departments within AbbVie.
Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in clinical data systems to ensure AbbVie remains at the forefront of innovation.
Support the company's mission and values by promoting a positive and collaborative work environment.
Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders at all levels, including senior management.
Mentor and coach team members to foster their professional growth and development.
Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures, and promote a culture of compliance within the team.

Job Qualifications

Extensive Experience In Clinical Data Systems: The Senior Manager Should Have At Least 7 Years Of Experience In Managing Clinical Data Systems, Preferably In The Pharmaceutical Industry. They Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Irt (Interactive Response Technology) Systems And Their Role In Clinical Trials.
Leadership Skills: As A Senior Manager, This Individual Will Be Responsible For Leading A Team Of Data Management Professionals. They Should Possess Strong Leadership Skills And Be Able To Effectively Manage A Team, Delegate Tasks, And Provide Guidance And Feedback To Team Members.
Technical Expertise: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Technical Background In Data Management And Information Technology. They Should Be Well-Versed In Data Standards, Data Validation, And Have Experience With Various Clinical Data Systems And Tools.
Project Management Skills: The Senior Manager Will Be Responsible For Overseeing Multiple Projects Simultaneously, So They Should Have Excellent Project Management Skills. This Includes The Ability To Establish Timelines, Manage Resources, And Ensure Projects Are Completed On Time And Within Budget.
Regulatory Knowledge: Abbvie Operates Within A Highly Regulated Industry, So The Senior Manager Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Regulatory Requirements For Clinical Data Management. They Should Be Familiar With Good Clinical Practices (Gcp) And Other Relevant Regulations And Be Able To Ensure Compliance Within Their Team And With External Partners.
