  1. Develop event concepts and plans that align with AbbVie's brand and objectives.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure events meet all necessary requirements and goals.
  3. Manage event budgets and negotiate contracts with vendors to ensure cost-effective solutions.
  4. Source and secure event venues, catering, and other necessary services.
  5. Oversee event logistics, including registration, transportation, and accommodations.
  6. Create and manage event timelines, schedules, and run-of-shows.
  7. Coordinate with speakers, presenters, and other event participants to ensure a seamless experience.
  8. Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote events and increase attendance.
  9. Utilize event technology and platforms to enhance the attendee experience.
  10. Conduct post-event evaluations and analyze data to measure event success and identify areas for improvement.
  11. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in event planning.
  12. Mentor and guide junior event planning team members.
  13. Handle any issues or emergencies that may arise during an event.
  14. Ensure events comply with company policies and procedures, as well as any applicable laws and regulations.
  15. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to events.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Event Planning, Preferably In A Corporate Or Pharmaceutical Setting.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Hospitality Management, Marketing, Or Related Field.

  • Strong Project Management Skills, With The Ability To Manage Multiple Events Simultaneously.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Various Internal And External Stakeholders.

  • Proficient In Event Planning Software And Tools, As Well As Budget Management And Financial Reporting.
