  1. Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for modernizing AbbVie's manufacturing operations to become state-of-the-art facilities of the future.
  2. Lead and oversee all aspects of the Factory of the Future Transformation, including identifying and evaluating new technologies, establishing timelines and budgets, and managing resources.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for automation and digital transformation within manufacturing processes.
  4. Stay abreast of emerging trends and advancements in the pharmaceutical industry to continually refine and improve the factory transformation strategy.
  5. Drive change management and communication efforts to ensure successful adoption of new technologies and processes.
  6. Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and partners to leverage external expertise and resources.
  7. Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  8. Provide leadership and mentorship to the Factory of the Future Transformation team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.
  9. Communicate progress and results to senior leadership and key stakeholders, including presenting recommendations and proposals for future initiatives.
  10. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal policies and procedures related to the Factory of the Future Transformation.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience In Manufacturing And Operations Management: The Senior Director Should Have A Minimum Of 10 Years Of Experience In Manufacturing And Operations Management, With A Proven Track Record Of Successfully Leading Transformational Projects In A Factory Setting.

  • Strong Leadership And Strategic Thinking Skills: The Role Requires Someone Who Can Lead And Inspire Teams, Set A Clear Vision And Strategy For The Factory Of The Future Transformation, And Make Sound Decisions Based On Data And Industry Trends.

  • In-Depth Knowledge Of Industry 4.0 Technologies: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Industry 4.0 Technologies Such As Automation, Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, And Data Analytics, And How They Can Be Applied To Transform Manufacturing Processes.

  • Change Management Expertise: The Senior Director Will Be Responsible For Driving A Cultural Shift Towards A Digital And Agile Mindset Within The Factory. Therefore, They Should Have Strong Change Management Skills And The Ability To Effectively Communicate And Engage With Stakeholders At All Levels Of The Organization.

  • Continuous Improvement Mindset: To Successfully Lead The Factory Of The Future Transformation, The Senior Director Should Have A Continuous Improvement Mindset And Be Able To Identify And Implement Process Improvements To Drive Operational Excellence And Efficiency. They Should Also Have Experience With Lean And Six Sigma Methodologies.
