Conduct data analysis and interpretation to support strategic decision-making and drug development efforts.
Utilize advanced statistical and modeling techniques to extract insights from complex datasets.
Develop and implement innovative approaches to analyze and visualize data.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize data-driven projects.
Communicate findings and recommendations to key stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.

Contribute to the development and implementation of data science strategies and initiatives.

Participate in conferences and workshops to share knowledge and stay updated on industry developments.
Act as a subject matter expert in data science and provide guidance to teams across the organization.

Job Qualifications

Advanced Degree In Data Science Or A Related Field: A Senior Data Scientist Ii At Abbvie Should Possess A Minimum Of A Master's Degree In Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Or A Related Field. This Advanced Degree Demonstrates A Strong Understanding Of Data Analysis And Modeling Techniques.
Minimum Of 7 Years Of Experience In Data Science: A Senior Data Scientist Ii Should Have At Least 7 Years Of Experience In The Field Of Data Science. This Experience Should Include Leading Data Science Projects, Managing A Team, And Working With Complex Data Sets.
Proficiency In Programming Languages And Data Tools: A Successful Candidate For This Role Should Have A Strong Proficiency In Programming Languages Such As R, Python, And Sql. They Should Also Be Proficient In Data Visualization Tools Like Tableau And Have Experience With Big Data Platforms Like Hadoop.
Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills: A Senior Data Scientist Ii Should Have Excellent Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills To Identify Patterns, Trends, And Insights From Large Data Sets. They Should Also Have The Ability To Think Critically And Develop Creative Solutions To Complex Problems.
Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills: As A Senior-Level Position, A Senior Data Scientist Ii Should Possess Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills. They Should Be Able To Effectively Communicate Complex Data Insights To Both Technical And Non-Technical Stakeholders And Lead A Team Of Data Scientists To Success.
