Develop and maintain a deep understanding of AbbVie's business objectives and strategy.
Utilize advanced data analytics techniques to identify insights and trends that drive business decisions and strategy.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and deliver solutions that meet business requirements.
Design and implement data-driven models and algorithms to solve complex business problems.
Continuously monitor and enhance data quality and integrity to ensure accurate and reliable analysis.
Communicate complex analytical findings and insights to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
Stay updated on the latest advancements and trends in data science and proactively apply them to drive innovation within the organization.
Lead and mentor junior data scientists in the team, providing guidance and support in their professional development.
Partner with IT teams to identify and implement data infrastructure improvements and enhancements to support data-driven decision making.
Manage multiple projects and priorities effectively, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of data-driven solutions.
Collaborate with external partners and vendors to leverage their expertise and resources in data analytics.
Adhere to all relevant regulatory and compliance guidelines in data collection, storage, and analysis.
Contribute to the development and implementation of data governance policies and procedures.
Participate in strategic planning and contribute to the development of long-term data science roadmap for the organization.
Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive data and adhere to ethical standards in data handling and analysis.

Job Qualifications

Extensive Experience In Data Analysis And Statistical Modeling: A Senior Data Scientist-Hybrid At Abbvie Should Possess A Strong Background In Data Analysis And Statistical Modeling Techniques, Such As Machine Learning, Regression Analysis, And Predictive Modeling.
Proficiency In Programming Languages And Tools: The Ideal Candidate Should Be Proficient In Programming Languages Such As Python, R, And Sql, As Well As Data Analysis Tools Such As Tableau And Hadoop.
Knowledge Of Pharmaceutical Industry: Abbvie Is A Pharmaceutical Company, So A Senior Data Scientist-Hybrid Should Have A Strong Understanding Of The Industry, Including Regulatory Requirements, Drug Development Processes, And Clinical Trials.
