Develop and implement legal strategies that align with AbbVie's business objectives.
Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
Provide sound legal guidance and advice to senior management.
Analyze complex legal issues and provide strategic solutions.
Stay updated on industry trends and changes in laws and regulations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate legal risks.
Draft and review legal documents, contracts, and agreements.
Conduct legal research and provide recommendations based on findings.
Represent AbbVie in legal proceedings, negotiations, and meetings.
Manage relationships with external legal counsel and other legal service providers.
Train and educate employees on legal compliance and risk management.
Support business development initiatives and provide legal support for mergers, acquisitions, and partnerships.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance legal efficiency and effectiveness.
Stay informed about global legal developments and ensure compliance with international laws and regulations.
Uphold AbbVie's values and culture while promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.

Job Qualifications

Minimum Of 10 Years Of Experience In A Legal Role, Preferably In The Healthcare Or Pharmaceutical Industry.
Juris Doctor (Jd) Degree From An Accredited Law School And Current Membership In Good Standing With The State Bar.
Proven Track Record Of Developing And Implementing Successful Legal Strategies To Support Business Objectives.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Senior Leadership.
Extensive Knowledge Of Relevant Laws And Regulations, Including Healthcare Compliance And Intellectual Property, And The Ability To Apply This Knowledge To Complex Legal Issues.
