  1. Develop and execute strategic communications plans to engage stakeholders and enhance AbbVie's reputation.
  2. Lead and manage complex corporate affairs initiatives.
  3. Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials, industry leaders, and media outlets.
  4. Monitor and analyze industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory developments to inform corporate affairs strategies.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and integration of corporate affairs efforts with business objectives.
  6. Develop and implement crisis communication plans and strategies.
  7. Serve as a spokesperson for the company and effectively communicate key messages to various audiences.
  8. Manage and oversee the budget for corporate affairs activities.
  9. Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  10. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
  11. Represent AbbVie at industry events and conferences.
  12. Proactively identify and address potential issues or reputational risks.
  13. Collaborate with internal and external partners to develop and implement corporate social responsibility initiatives.
  14. Develop and maintain strong relationships with media outlets and act as a company spokesperson when needed.
  15. Maintain a thorough understanding of AbbVie's products, services, and overall business strategy.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Communications, Public Relations, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 8 Years Of Experience In Corporate Affairs, Public Relations, Or Communications Roles.

  • Strong Understanding Of The Healthcare Industry And Experience Working In A Highly Regulated Environment.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Engage With Stakeholders At All Levels.

  • Proven Experience In Developing And Executing Corporate Communications Strategies And Crisis Management Plans.
