Develop and maintain API infrastructure on AWS platform to support global pharmaceutical operations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Design, develop, and implement scalable and efficient APIs using AWS technologies.
Ensure API security and compliance with industry regulations.
Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to API performance, availability, and functionality.
Conduct thorough testing and documentation of APIs to ensure high quality and reliability.
Continuously monitor and optimize API performance to meet business needs.
Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in API development and AWS technologies.
Mentor and guide junior engineers in API development and AWS best practices.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on API projects and address any concerns or issues.
Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines for API deployment and management.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Comply with AbbVie's policies and procedures, as well as regulatory requirements.

Job Qualifications

Extensive Experience With Aws Platform: A Senior Api Engineer At Abbvie Should Have In-Depth Knowledge And Hands-On Experience With The Aws Platform, Including Services Such As Api Gateway, Lambda, Ecs, Cloudformation, And More.
Strong Api Development Skills: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Background In Api Development, Including Designing, Building, And Testing Restful Apis Using Languages Such As Java, Python, Or Node.js.
Proficiency In Cloud Infrastructure And Automation: As A Senior Api Engineer, The Candidate Should Possess A Deep Understanding Of Cloud Infrastructure And Automation Tools Such As Terraform, Ansible, Or Chef, And Be Able To Implement Best Practices For Managing And Deploying Apis In A Cloud Environment.
Experience With Devops And Ci/Cd: Abbvie Values Candidates With Experience In Devops Methodologies And Implementing Ci/Cd Pipelines For Api Development And Deployment. Knowledge Of Tools Such As Jenkins, Git, And Docker Is A Plus.
Strong Communication And Teamwork Skills: A Senior Api Engineer At Abbvie Will Work Closely With Cross-Functional Teams, Including Product Owners, Architects, And Other Engineers. The Candidate Should Have Excellent Communication And Teamwork Skills To Collaborate Effectively And Drive Projects To Success.
