  1. Develop and implement data standards for all relevant departments within the organization.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency and accuracy of data across the organization.
  3. Monitor and evaluate existing data standards and make recommendations for improvements.
  4. Identify and resolve any discrepancies or issues related to data standards.
  5. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  6. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in data management to drive innovation in processes.
  7. Train and educate team members on data standards and procedures.
  8. Analyze data sets to identify patterns and trends, and provide insights to inform decision-making.
  9. Communicate and present data standards and results to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  10. Develop and maintain documentation and SOPs related to data standards.
  11. Collaborate with IT teams to ensure data standards are effectively implemented and integrated into systems and processes.
  12. Act as a subject matter expert on data standards and provide guidance to team members and other departments.
  13. Proactively identify and address potential risks or issues related to data standards.
  14. Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives to improve data management processes.
  15. Continuously assess and improve data standardization processes and procedures.

Job Qualifications
  • Strong Data Management Skills: A Senior Analyst, Data Standards At Abbvie Should Have Extensive Experience In Data Management, Including Data Quality Assurance, Data Validation, And Data Governance. They Should Be Well-Versed In Industry Standards And Best Practices For Managing And Maintaining Data.

  • In-Depth Knowledge Of Data Standards: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Data Standards And Their Application In Pharmaceutical Research And Development. This Includes Knowledge Of Cdisc (Clinical Data Interchange Standards Consortium) Standards, Sdtm (Standard Data Tabulation Model), And Adam (Analysis Data Model).

  • Analytical And Problem-Solving Abilities: A Senior Analyst, Data Standards Should Be Able To Analyze Complex Data Sets And Identify Data Quality Issues. They Should Have Strong Critical Thinking And Problem-Solving Skills To Find Solutions And Ensure Data Integrity.

  • Communication And Collaboration Skills: In This Role, The Senior Analyst Will Work Closely With Cross-Functional Teams, Including Data Managers, Statisticians, Programmers, And Clinical Teams. Effective Communication And Collaboration Skills Are Essential For Success In This Position.

  • Project Management Experience: As A Senior Analyst, Data Standards, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Managing Multiple Projects Simultaneously. They Should Have Experience In Project Management, Including Planning, Organizing, And Coordinating Tasks And Timelines To Meet Project Deadlines.
