Conduct research and experiments in the field of Immuno Oncology.
Design and implement innovative strategies to advance cancer research.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute research plans.
Analyze and interpret data to draw meaningful conclusions and make recommendations.
Keep up to date with the latest developments and advancements in the field of immuno oncology.
Present research findings and progress updates to internal and external stakeholders.
Contribute to the development of new drug candidates and therapies for cancer treatment.
Maintain accurate and detailed records of experiments and research data.
Participate in scientific publications and presentations to share research findings.
Assist in the training and mentoring of junior team members.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safety protocols.
Continuously evaluate and improve experimental methods and protocols.
Identify and troubleshoot any technical issues that may arise during research.
Collaborate with external partners, including academic institutions and contract research organizations.
Contribute to the overall goals and objectives of the Immuno Oncology department and the company.

Job Qualifications

Phd In Immunology, Oncology, Or Related Field: This Is A Fundamental Requirement For Any Scientist Position In Immuno Oncology At Abbvie. A Phd Ensures That The Candidate Has A Deep Understanding Of The Scientific Principles And Techniques Necessary For This Role.
Experience In Immuno Oncology Research: Abbvie Is A Leader In The Field Of Immuno Oncology, And As Such, They Require Candidates To Have Prior Experience In This Area. This Includes A Strong Track Record Of Publications, Presentations, And/Or Patents In The Field.
Strong Knowledge Of Cancer Biology: Candidates Should Possess A Comprehensive Understanding Of Cancer Biology, Including The Mechanisms Of Tumor Growth, Metastasis, And Immune Response. This Knowledge Is Critical For Designing And Interpreting Experiments In The Immuno Oncology Field.
Proficiency In Relevant Laboratory Techniques And Technologies: This Includes Experience With Flow Cytometry, Cell Culture, Molecular Biology, And Other Relevant Techniques. Candidates Should Also Be Familiar With The Latest Technologies And Platforms Used In Immuno Oncology Research.
Excellent Communication And Teamwork Skills: Scientists At Abbvie Are Expected To Collaborate With Colleagues Across Different Departments And Present Their Findings To A Diverse Audience. Therefore, Strong Communication And Teamwork Skills Are Essential For Success In This Role.
